I'm afraid to cry
I'm afraid to be heard
To be asked what's wrong.
The pressure builds up
I'm ready to explode
I must hold it in
Alone in my room
I collapse on the bed,
Tears stinging my eyes
All pain I've endured,
All the loss I've sustained,
The anger inside.
Stop me from crying
Breathe relief right through me
Heal my puncture wounds
It hurts me to cry
Stop the tears from flowing
Take the pain away
No one can help me
Because no one can know
I'm tearing apart.
No one must realize
A tough girl so broken
Is just what I am,
But the evidence
On my tear-stained pillow
Shows I can't go on
Raspberry rain and cantaloupe clouds
Loom furrowing overhead
Strawberry strides and lemon leaps
Take people to escape the future
Papaya pleas and watermelon wishes
Go unheard in the downpour
Tangerine torrents and gooseberry gusts
Force the trees to bow at their mercy
Banana bands and mango marchers
Ward off the growing storm
Hogplum hugs and kiwi fruit kisses
Spread around like wildfires
Elderberry enigmas and nectarine nights
Hide the fury of all nature
Apple aptitudes and ita palm intuitions
Rule the minds of the world
Date decisions and jackfruit justice
Turn the world back to order
Ugli fruit understanding and velvet

A Child's Winter Wonderland
As the new flakes fall before me, now huge in size,
As the grass fades faster with every second, snow dancing around,
As the distance falls into a far-off dream,
I press my face against the frosted window bay.
Before my fingers wiggle, warm in wool, mud-browned,
Before my hat rests snug upon my head (the color of cream),
Before my toes sink into my boots, silver as the skies,
I have to ask my mother if I may.
While that perfect snowball shatters apart with a scream,
While the sled skids across a patch where weeds arise,
While white angels appear, scattered imprints on the ground,
My nose runs down to my bluing lips, and
As the meadow grass graces my fingertips,
As feathery clouds float high in the air,
As the daisy chain adorns my crown,
I dream of freedom.
While the silver raindrops plummet to the ground,
While lightning illuminates the heavens,
While the wind bellows through the branches,
I dream of power.
Before the waves break upon the sandy shore,
Before the gentle breeze teases my hair,
Before the little forest brook rolls,
I dream of peace.
After the chords complement the melody,
After every candle blazes as one,
After the nations dance together,
I dream of harmony.
Until a bond unbroken becomes certain,
Until your secret whispers rea
I am the angel on her shoulder
I am the sparkle in her eye
I am the arms that hold her
I am the tear upon her skin
I am the quiver on her lip
I am the fire within
I am the sunshine on her hair
I am the earth beneath her feet
I am the warm country air
I am a whisper in the night
I am the stars up in the sky
I am a small bird in flight
I am the child with the rose
I am that kitten's playful nip
I am the mother who knows
I am the first strawberry, so red
I am the wind in fields of wheat
I am the pillow for your head
I am Angelspirit
Hope is but a sliver of light
A fading silhouette against the crimson moon
Consumed by a fiery celestial element
Diminishing slowly and surely into oblivion
The stars appear around the fading light
One by one, they peek out from the darkness
Hoping to exist merely long enough to be noticed
They glimmer in the ebony nothingness
Frivolously whispering sweet nothings to the air
Twinkling eyes of love, these stars are
Chanting rhymes and reasons to beings on earth
Beckoning souls together without a thought
Who can trust the stars?
When the light grows again, they cry.
Anxiety grows with each moment of its reconciliation

In Search of the Ellamenoh Pea
Captain Abee stood upon the bow of his ship, overlooking the sea. The salty sea air threatened to toss his captains hat, adorned with a perfect white exclamation point on the front, into the blue waters of the piers below. In his hand, he held a treasure map leading to the fabled Ellamenoh Pea.
"Captain!" called First Mate Jay Kaye, "Is our course planned?"
Captain Abee walked slowly over to his First Mate. Clunk, clop, clunk, clop, clunk, clop. He stared at him for a moment before replying, "No," and continuing on to his cabin. Clunk, clop, clunk, clop, clunk, clop.
In his cabin, Captain Abee very carefully plotted the course they wi
The sky had been bluer than the bluest of sapphires that fateful day. The great sun beamed down upon little Caedyn as she played just outside the village of Elryia. The child veered too near the Lyra cliffs, and tumbled to her death.
Caedyn's spirit did not ascend to the heavens, as most would have done. No, instead, it stood alone by the child's lifeless body.
Now Caedyn's spirit was very sad and alone. It began to wander the fields in search of another spirit who may be her friend.
After a fruitless search of the vast fields in the realm of Elryia, the spirit headed off towards the Talatian woods. It wandered the path, then stray
